In addition to the builder warranty, at BIC Homes you also receive the “Home of Texas” 10 year home warranty. This warranty is in place from the day of closing, for your added protection. Because, simply stated, at BIC Homes we know warranties matter.
We know that sometimes in a hectic and busy life you set things aside. We want you to know that we are still here for you after the closing. Simply report your warranty concern, we have a warranty department to assist you, we have not abandoned you. We consider our home owners like family, and we take care of family. With BIC we start the process before the closing, you as the home owner will have an appointment with one of our trained professionals to review your new BIC Home and have an orientation on how the Home functions and review what the warranties cover, and what falls under homeowner maintenance.
This is an important step, because we want you to be aware of how your home functions. Once you close on your New BIC Home, if any issues arise or maybe you just have some questions on how something works. Our Staff is available to answer your calls or simply fill out the warranty form under the warranty page and we will gladly get back with you.
When you purchase a BIC Home, with the HOME of TEXAS Limited Warranty, you own a home with a well-defined warranty. Your builder has taken special steps to secure a written warranty for you.
Unlike some implied warranties or handshake promises, the HOME Limited Warranty is very detailed and specific.
In addition to the above first and second year items, the HOME of TEXAS Warranty includes ten-year protection on warranted structural elements in your BIC Home, as defined in your Warranty book. The warranty identifies which parts of a home are warranted, and the criteria for establishing a structural defect. For additional information on this warranty refer to your warranty booklet. N
