As a seasoned Electronic Engineer, Santiago brings over three decades of hands-on expertise in electronics, mechanical repairs, logistics, and global quality management to the homebuilding sector, a field where his pragmatic vision and relentless drive for excellence have made a lasting impact.

Santiago’s career began as an Electronic Technician at just 18, quickly progressing to earn his degree in Electronic Engineering by 27. His technical foundation paved the way for pivotal roles managing operations for world-renowned brands, including launching Apple’s reverse logistics operations in Brazil, Russia, and Dubai, and overseeing NCR and HP repair operations across Latin America. Before joining BIC Homes, Santiago was entrusted as the global quality lead for a 12,000-employee multinational, where he was responsible for optimizing processes and ensuring top-tier product and service standards worldwide.

Driven by personal resilience shaped by economic upheaval and international relocations, Santiago has lived and worked in three countries. Each move from his home country during a major economic crisis to building a thriving career and family abroad, has instilled in him a grounded, hard-working ethos and a passion for building both homes and successful teams. His leadership at BIC Homes was pivotal in turning around the company’s fortunes, guiding it from the brink of sale to a new era of growth and quality.
